This is one of my absolutely favorite moments between the Crawley women. Sybil putting the flower in Mary’s hair, Edith having a moan and then Cora removing said flower… I think it really established the relationship they have with one another.
I miss the days when everything was happy and fun!

Cora: My emotions are jumbled, tangled, twisted, and torn by this woman at the moment. I cannot express my deepest emotions on how devastated I am that Robert disrespected her and their marriage so much. Cheating is the number one crime in my books, and I am emotionally disgusted. I could write an essay on this, but I’m just going to end it there. I loved her new outfit, I loved her facial expressions when Matthew walked, and I just love her. I felt so terrible when she watched Mary’s face at dinner. I hated it when Robert yelled at her for being selfish. I think Cora realized what a mess she created with Matthew, and she regrets it.
